Summer/Travel tryouts for 10u, 12u and 14u- June 3rd: Times TBD
Anyone wishing to play in the summer/travel league needs to attend the tryout. If you cannot attend but wish for your daughter to play, please register for the tryout and let us know she cannot attend so other arrangements for an evaluation can be made.
What is the Summer/Travel league??
The South Shore Summer League is a competitive softball league that spans across several South Shore towns such as Milton, Quincy, Braintree, Randolph, Canton, Bridgwater, Plymouth etc.
Our goal is to have as many girls playing as possible and to field as many teams as possible in each of the age brackets. Roster sizes are limited to 12-13 girls so registration numbers will dictate how many teams we will carry and/or if there will be cuts. We encourage all girls to tryout. We will do our best to ensure we can field as many teams as possible so if there are enough girls to field multiple teams in a given age bracket, we will follow the A/B/C format of the South Shore Summer League. Each team will also participate in at least one weekend tournament.
As for what to expect with Summer: While we understand there will be conflicts that arise, it is expected that the girls selected will be available for the vast majority of games and practices. There are two games each week (see below) and expect 1-2 practices as well. The season starts the week of June 20th and runs thru the end of July/Early August depending on the playoffs and possible tournaments.
We are not asking for payment now. If your daughter is placed on a team we will provide a link to complete payment at that time. The cost for the 2022 Summer Travel Season is:
