2009 LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

HGS is actively looking for volunteers to assist with certain league responsibilities for the upcoming 2009 softball season.  Every year, HGS values the ongoing support and dedication of parents and volunteers and this year your help is strongly needed.  With the many improvements that were brought forth last season, providing a more organized and beneficial softball program to our girls is a top priority.  Below is a listing of the available league positions that need to be filled by the fall in order for HGS to excel in all areas to continue to bring a structured, fun and safe environment for our girls.  Our staff is more than happy to train and assist all volunteers.  It's a posiitive experience and one that will bring many personal rewards year after year.  If interested in a particular position, please email us at hinghamsoftball@yahoo.com.  HGS thanks you very much for your support.

Open League Positions:

D4 Director - responsible for overseeing D4.  Emailing coaches with information throughout the season, constructing schedules and rosters, assisting with the draft process and clinics. 

Treasurer - responsible for all documented monies 'in and out' of the league.

Hingham Journal Contact - responsible for getting HGS information into the Hingham Journal in a timely manner throughout the season.

Trophy Coordinator - responsible for the ordering and distributing year-end trophies.

Website Administrator - responsible for updating and mainting the HGS website by publishing HGS information in a timely manner.  This includes schedules, game cancellations, announcements, events, etc.

Clinic Coordinator - responsible for setting up clinics throughout the season.

Field Maintenance - responsible for painting the lines on the fields and any necessary grooming that may need to be done (with the help from coaches and parents)
