Instructor / Coach Background
Julia Ludvigsen began playing softball at a junior Olympic level when she was just 8 years old. Along with playing on the junior Olympic teams she also played at Thayer Academy High School, Suffolk University and ended her career at Northeastern University due to injury. She has won many awards including All-American, All-League, MVP and Rookie of the Year. Julia began her coaching career 4 years ago when she coached a U12 junior Olympic team. Currently, she conducts clinics and private lessons for girls of all levels to work on conditioning and fundamentals of the game to help them develop into the best player possible.
HGS encourages all girls, grades K-8, to participate in this fun and exciting organization. We provide players at all ages and skill levels an opportunity to play on a team that is right for them.
Our Recreational League (GALS) stresses learning, fundamentals, equal playing time and fun.
The Travel League is more time consuming, competitive and competes against the best young athletes on the South Shore.
